Enterprising Culture is an international meeting that provides opportunities for unique discussions and exchanges between Canadian and French stakeholders and start-ups from the worlds of culture, creative, and media industries.
A binational and cross-sector event involving debates, keynotes and pitching sessions, the Forum is a field for reflection, exploring the economic dimension of culture. The Forum aims to be a place for concrete proposals, unique networking opportunities for start-ups coming from France and Canada, and a place to learn about key trends in these innovative markets.
This edition focuses on start-ups and companies working in Immersive technology that blurs the line between the physical world and digital or simulated world (VR/AR, 3D display, Holographic experience, 3D audio effect…): A program designed to showcase new digital technologies (hardwares and softwares) and innovative content producers from both countries.
After a first edition in Toronto in 2016, the Forum now extends west to Vancouver and its lively creative industry ecosystem. The Forum takes place in fall 2017 in both cities over the course of one week.
This event brings together committed people from different backgrounds. The speakers and starts-ups selected to take part in this event—from both Canada and France— reflects a diverse range of viewpoints, European and North American ones.
